Operation Broken Mirror is here in Black Ops 7 Endgame for Season 3 Reloaded, bringing a new set of objectives to complete for unique rewards. Arguably the toughest of Act II is the very final step, where players will need to take on the new Mega Abomination, followed by defeating the Glitch Boss in the Virus Injection Glitch. Here is how to complete Glitch Step: Virus Injection in Black Ops 7 Endgame.

Glitch Step: Link Forger Black Ops 7 Endgame Guide (Free Camos, Skins, & More)

The final stage of Operation Poison Pill in Black Ops 7 Endgame is easily the most difficult. Here is how to complete Glitch Step: Link Forger, fast.

Before completing any of these objectives, we recommend having an Operator with a Combat Rating of at least 60, along with at least one fully upgraded Exotic Weapon.

Objective #1: Eliminate a Guild Strike Boss

To complete the first objective, you will need to eliminate a Guild Strike Boss. There are two Guild Strike Bosses that players can defeat in Avalon. One is the Oscar Strike Boss, which is guaranteed to appear at the Winery if you have completed Operation Poison Pill. The other spawns at a random location around the map and is triggered by completing the Unknown Guild Container Activity.

Here is a breakdown of how to complete this step:

  1. Head to the Unknown Guild Container Activity and interact with the container.
  2. Defeat waves of Fear enemies to analyze the container and spawn the Nightmare Zone.
  3. Head to the Guild Strike Boss location and eliminate it.

Objective #2: Complete a Mega Abomination Hunt Activity

Once you have completed a Strike Boss, remain within the Nightmare Zone, as somewhere in the area a Mega Abomination Hunt Activity will spawn. Head to the marked location and locate a body. Interacting with this corpse will trigger the activity, where you will need to defeat waves of enemies in order to spawn the Mega Abomination.

Once the Abomination has been spawned, make use of these strategies to defeat it. First, aim for whichever mouth is open and glowing to deal critical damage. If you deal enough damage, you can even sever one of its heads. The Mega Abomination also uses several attacks that you will need to watch out for:

  • Laser Attack: A ranged laser fired from its mouths. Take cover or deal enough damage to its mouths to interrupt the attack.
  • Charge Attack: Triggered when it leans back and rushes forward. Keep your distance and sidestep to avoid it.
  • Bite Attack: Triggered when players get too close. Maintain distance to avoid setting it off.
  • Stampede Attack: Triggered when one of its heads is severed. Keep your distance.

Dishing out enough damage to the Mega Abomination will defeat it, thus completing the Mega Abomination Hunt Activity and spawning in the Virus Injection Glitch.

Objective #3: Enter the Virus Injection Glitch and Defeat the Glitch Boss

Now that the Virus Injection Glitch is open, head over to it either in your current deployment or a future one. This Glitch Fracture can be found towards the northeast side of the Colosseum. Interact with the Glitch to queue in.

Once inside the Glitch Fracture, you will need to progress through a series of Glitch Waves spread across three Glitch Sectors. Here is a quick rundown on how to complete them all:

Glitch Wave 1: Destroy all Power Cells Before Time Expires

For the first Glitch Wave, you will need to progress through four separate areas, destroying Power Cells to unlock each one. To destroy them, shoot the glowing portion of the structures.

Unfortunately, these Power Cells spawn in completely random locations, and some can be tricky to find. In each area, be sure to check out-of-bounds spots as well as rooftops. Some Power Cells can also be found floating in the sky, so keep an eye upward while searching.

Glitch Wave 2: Eliminate HVT Presence Before Time Expires

Once you have destroyed all Power Cells in the final area, an HVT Abomination will spawn from a Guild Container. This Abomination uses the same attacks as the Mega Abomination you previously faced, but deals significantly more damage. As you fight it, two waves of enemies will spawn: Parasites during the first half, followed by Toxic Fears in the second half.

As before, keep your distance and aim for whichever mouth is glowing to deal critical damage. When the Abomination begins charging its beam attack, avoid tanking it, as it can easily down you in one hit. Instead, take cover until the attack ends.

It is also possible to confuse the Abomination’s pathing by climbing on top of the bus in the corner of the zone. This can sometimes cause it to get stuck, allowing you to safely deal critical damage. However, this strategy is not recommended during the second half, as Toxic Fears can jump onto the bus and quickly overwhelm you.

Glitch Wave 3: Escort the Asset Before Time Expires

For the next step, you will need to escort a Rhino from one end of the sector to the other. You can move the Rhino by staying within the marked zone around it. This section can be quite challenging, as the enemies here hit hard, with enemies like Demolishers capable of one-shotting players. Here are some tips to help you complete it:

  • Use cover: Stay behind cars, trucks, and other objects to block incoming damage while taking out enemies.
  • Go slow: Avoid rushing or trying to tank damage, as this will often get you downed quickly.
  • Resupply at Ammo Caches: Your armor is limited, so fall back to the first of the two Ammo Caches when needed to restock.
  • Resupply Self Revive Kits: You can find several Self Revive Kits in the first truck near the first ammo cache.

Glitch Wave 4: Eliminate HVT Presence Before Time Expires

In the next zone, you will need to defeat a Rhino. Just like before, this can be a tough fight, as the Rhino deals a significant amount of damage. On top of that, Fears and Toxic Fears will swarm you throughout the encounter. Here are some tips to take it down quickly:

  • Use cover: Stay behind objects like cars to block incoming fire and peek out to deal damage. The bus on the south side is one of the best spots to use.
  • Keep moving: Avoid staying in one place for too long, as Fears can quickly overwhelm you. Rotate between cover to avoid being swarmed.
  • Use Crash Cart: There are no Self Revives available in this area, so Crash Cart is essential if you want a second or third chance.

Glitch Wave 5: Eliminate All Hostiles Before Time Expires

For the next step, you will need to eliminate all enemies in three different areas within a moving zone. These will be a mix of Guild and Fear enemies, along with a Titan HVT in each area. Use cover and take down every enemy to complete this wave.

Glitch Wave 6: Eliminate the Glitch Boss Before Time Expires

For the final stage, you will need to beat the Sualk Rebu Glitch Boss, a super-buffed Uber Klaus. Those who have faced Uber Klaus before will likely be aware of how to beat him, but here are a few tips to keep in mind. Firstly, focus fire on the shield generators on the shoulders of Uber Klaus to deactivate his shield and deal more damage when firing at his head.

Uber Klaus will also employ a few different attacks. Here is an overview of all of them and how to deal with them:

  • Ranged Attack: Sualk Rebu will fire three ranged projectiles that cause AoE shock damage. Slide out of the way to avoid them.
  • Jump Attack: When you are too far away from Sualk Rebu, he will jump to your location and create a shockwave. Immediately head to high ground, either by grappling above a vehicle or using a Kinetic Jump to avoid it.
  • Orbital Strike: At certain intervals, Sualk Rebu will float above the arena and fire projectiles while generating a bubble shield. Avoid the projectiles and fire at the bubble to cancel the attack.

Secondly, Uber Klaus has two stages: his first phase in his mech form, and the second in his Uber Klaus Core form. When taking on the Uber Klaus Core, additional cores will spawn, which will self-destruct if they get too close. Keep your distance and take them out while avoiding Sualk Rebu’s ranged attacks.

There is also a way to cheese the boss fight. If you head to the VTOL on the north side of the area, Sualk Rebu’s pathing can be broken, allowing you to defeat him with much less effort.
