Battlefield 6 has revealed its Season 3 roadmap, giving players a look at what lies ahead, including new maps, weapons, game modes, and a host of other additions. Battlefield 6 made its debut in October 2025 and was met with success right out of the gate. It shipped over 7 million copies within its first three days, and even established itself as one of the year's best-selling titles, surpassing the likes of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

Even though Battlefield 6 dominated the charts, its post-launch journey hasn't proven to be the smoothest. Players have complained about the title's underwhelming seasonal content, an overemphasis on multiplayer, poor map quality, and UI issues. To make matters worse, the title also found itself under pressure from competing releases like ARC Raiders. All of these factors led to a sharp decline in Battlefield 6's player base. However, it seems like EA is now looking to steer things back in the right direction with the upcoming Season 3 update.

EA Reveals Battlefield 6 Season 3 Roadmap

EA has officially dropped the roadmap for Battlefield 6 Season 3, which is all set to kick off on May 12. The season will roll out in three phases, beginning with Warlords Supremacy on May 12, followed by Brace for Blastpoint on June 9, and ending with the High-Value Target on June 30. One of the biggest highlights of Warlords Supremacy is the return of the Railway to Golmud map in Battlefield 6. It has been heavily upgraded with expanded airspace, a redesigned village area, a new construction site, and several other improvements. Players can also jump into the Ranked Battle Royale mode while trying out fresh features like the M16A4, RPK-74M, and L115.

The Brace for Blastpoint is set to introduce Cairo Bazaar, which is a brand-new map inspired by Battlefield 4's classic Grand Bazaar. Built around close-quarters combat, it takes players through the crowded streets and alleyways. The fan-favorite Obliteration mode is also making a comeback. In addition, the update will add the Explosive Charge event for REDSEC, as well as new gear like the PP-19 and the Handheld Jammer gadget. Season 3 wraps up everything with the High-Value Target update, which brings Tactical Obliteration, a casual battle royale playlist, along with a REDSEC event called Wet Work.

Season 3 is just one part of Battlefield 6's 2026 roadmap. Season 4 is expected to bring naval combat to the table and the return of Tsuruu Reef and Wake Island. Players can also look forward to new features such as server browsers, leaderboards, platoons, and extensive map reworks. Although EA hasn't stated anything about Season 5, fans can expect more details to surface closer to its release.
