S-Tier: God Tier Weapons

M433 (Assault Rifle) in Battlefield 6

Weapons

Reason For Meta Ranking

M433

Best all-around Assault Rifle for all purposes. Solid accuracy and a high rate of fire.

Kord 6P67

Still a top-ranking Assault Rifle for Season 2. It has very low recoil and is exceptionally stable, making it very easy to use.

DRS-IAR

Accurate and heavy-hitting LMG that handles more like an Assault Rifle. Excellent for the long-range meta.

M123K

A fast-firing LMG that received a significant recoil control buff. It is relatively stable and boasts a large magazine, excellent for kill chains from up close and afar.

AK4D

Hard-hitting Assault Rifle. Boasts some kick but is excellent for long range when built for recoil control.

VCR-2

Newest weapon to Season 2 and the best Assault Rifle for close-to-mid range. High rate of fire, solid TTK, and a larger magazine than the TR-7

PW5A3

All-around best SMG. Boasts a solid TTK along with excellent accuracy that rivals many other weapons. Ideal SMG for close-to-mid range.

NVO-228E

Excellent, steady rifle with serious damage. Though controllable, it does have a little bit of recoil deviation to get a hold of.

Mini Scout

Best Sniper Rifle in terms of mobility and fire rate. Though dealing less damage, it is the only Sniper capable of rechambering whilst in ADS.

A-Tier: Absolute Meta Weapons

B36A4 (Assault Rifle) in Battlefield 6

Weapons

Reason For Meta Ranking

B36A4

Excellent and easy to use Assault Rifle. Relatively low recoil and stable for medium-to-long range.

SGX

Fast killing SMG with a blistering fire rate. Almost no vertical recoil and does not suffer from a small magazine size like some other high DPS SMGs.

M240L

The fastest-killing LMG up close and carries a solid TTK at long range. It does boast a fair amount of bloom, however.

RPKM

Fairly easy to control with a predictable recoil pattern. Boasts a solid TTK and is a heavy hitter. Ideal for long-range engagements.

M277

Relatively low damage drop-off at long range, with a massive buff to recoil control in Season 2. Still requires some overhaul to reduce its upward kick, however.

KV9

Arguably the fastest-killing SMG up close if all bullets hit their mark. Incredibly high skill weapon, thanks to its low magazine size.

SG 553R

Moderate fire rate with a high level of damage. Though often slept on, it is an excellent close-to-mid-range Carbine that can outclass a lot of SMGs and ARs.

GRT-CPS

Excellent DMR that is new to Season 2. While it is not the hardest-hitting of the category, it boasts a solid fire rate, excellent accuracy, and fast recentering.

QBZ-192

Fairly controllable recoil, mostly kicking upward, and a great TTK.

M4A1

Still a high-ranking Carbine. Fast fire rate and a decent level of control. Ideal for medium-range gunfights.

TR-7

Excellent close-to-mid range Assault Rifle with a fast TTK. Only limited by its small magazine size.

M250

No damage drop-off at all at long range, and while the damage itself is not the highest, the fact that it does not fall off makes it one of the best LMGs damage-wise from a distance.

M2010 ESR

Excellent Sniper Rifle for all scenarios. Has the second-best level of bullet velocity, is decently quick, and excellent for 75 to 120 meters.

M357 Trait

By far the best secondary in the game. A little less damage than the M44 but a better fire rate. A reliable two-shot kill and holds more rounds.

M44

Arguably the second-best secondary. Excellent stopping power and can one-shot to the head. Harsh recoil and low fire rate, however.

B-Tier: Solid Meta Choices

AK-205 Carbine in Battlefield 6

Weapons

Reason For Meta Ranking

AK-205

By far the easiest full-auto weapon to use in the game. Boasts almost zero recoil and can be used for all ranges. The only caveat is its relatively low damage compared to faster killing options.

M417 A2

Powerful long-range Carbine that packs a serious punch. Suffers from a low-magazine size, however.

GRT-BC

Comparable to the QBZ-192 and often faster killing. Great hipfire spread, but boasts bouncy recoil and spread. More suitable for close-range gunfights.

USG-90

Boasts a fast TTK and a decent amount of recoil control to boot. Also, it has the largest magazine in the category, perfect for taking on multiple opponents.

L110

Excellent beginner LMG. Middle of the pack TTK but fairly easy to control. Excellent for crowd control at medium range.

M1014

Boasts the second-best level of damage to the Shotgun class, but a higher fire rate. One of the best TTKs up close and has a damage range comparable to the M87A1.

M87A1

Best damage-per-shot of the Shotgun class. More than capable of gaining consistent one-shot kills up close and offers the best range.

SCW-10

Mathematically, it is the second-fastest killing SMG in the game. Limited by its small magazine size, with its extended magazine attachments offering fairly little ammo boosts. Incredibly highly skilled weapon.

L85A3

Steady Assault Rifle with a decent level of control for medium to long range. However, its damage is on the low end and is outclassed by most Assault Rifles.

SOR-556 MK2

Fairly low recoil and accurate, but its damage and fire rate are on the low end when compared to most Assault Rifles.

PSR

Has the best muzzle velocity of the Sniper Rifle category. It's ideal for extreme long ranges, but has less control and speed than other options.

SVK-8.6

Considerably a decent DMR. Slow-firing and hard-hitting, and much easier to control thanks to the slower fire rate, it is a guaranteed two-shot kill at all ranges. Ideal for long range, but not great up close.

M45A1

Slowest fire rate of the semi-auto secondaries, but it packs a punch with serious damage up close.

C-Tier: Niche Weapon Options

SOR-300SC in Battlefield 6

Weapons

Reason For Meta Ranking

SOR-300SC

It boasts the lowest fire rate of the Carbines, but is tied with many for high damage. Decent for close-range fights due to its low velocity, but not exactly a standout gun for the category.

PW7A2

Relatively low damage per-shot paired with a high fire rate. Low recoil and extremely accurate, but it is outclassed by a fair number of other SMGs in TTK.

UMG-40

Extremely low recoil. Excellent versatility at medium range for an SMG, but not exactly the fastest killing option, ranking behind most options, including the PW5A3.

M/60

Heavy-hitting LMG built for long-range gunfights. However, the horizontal spread of the weapon is hard to control, requiring attachment overhauls to tone it down.

KTS100 MK8

Low recoil and ideal for long-range. Arguably the slowest killing of the LMG category, however.

SL9

Has a slightly better TTK than options like the UMG-40 and is highly accurate for mid-range. However, its hipfire accuracy and precision take a hit.

M121 A2

Boasts a solid TTK for an LMG. However, its recoil is definitely on the harsh side, with quite a bit of climb and horizontal spread.

18.5KS-K

It has the highest fire rate of the Shotgun category. Excellent TTK at close range, but has the second-poorest level of range.

SV-98

Not a bad Sniper Rifle by any means. It is more tailored to shorter-range fights, but that particular niche is filled by the Mini Scout. It does boast better damage-per-shot, however.

LMR27

Easily the best DMR for mid-range fights. Is notably beaten by most full-auto weapons, however.

SVDM

High damage paired with a faster-than-average fire rate. Much harder to use from a distance, though.

ES 5.7

Best bullet velocity in the secondary class and superfast fire rate. Not exactly the best secondary option, but still a decent consideration.

GGH-22

Better damage range than the ES 5.7 and dishes out a little more damage, but with a slower rate of fire. Notably, less bullet velocity, however.

D-Tier: Lowest Ranking Weapons

DB-12 in Battlefield 6

Weapons

Reason For Meta Ranking

DB-12

It has a faster fire rate than the only other pump Shotgun thanks to the fact that it fires two rounds before rechambering. However, it has the lowest range of the category.

M39 EMR

Second-best bullet velocity. Decent for long-range encounters and a good magazine size to boot. However, it aims to fill a niche that is already taken.

P18

Similar damage profile to the ES 5.7, but with a notably slower fire rate. Rapid damage fall-off, and the fact that it aims to fill a contested niche, hold this secondary back compared to other options.
