About LB Beistad
LB Beistad is a writer and musician based in Nashville, TN. Her love of gaming began with her cousin introducing her to Banjo Kazooie and Jak and Daxter when she was five years old. It was love at first play.
Now, she jumps into any game that scratches that specific itch of being both a strong story and well-rounded gamplay, but she gravitates mostly toward action-adventure and horror. When she isn't gaming, she's making music, drawing, or training for triathlons (she wants to be as strong as Lara Croft, but so far, her athletic ability is closer to Magikarp).
Her biggest career accomplishment so far has been the ability to turn this into a full-time gig, despite still being freelance. From a young age, she loved to write, even winning journalism awards during her school years and into college. Getting to combine her love of writing and gaming has been a dream. LB is always on the hunt for a new adventure, and games journalism has given her the freedom to explore.

Proudest Gaming Achievement
I've been working to build my ultimate gaming collection with past gen consoles and physical games. The most satisfying have been finding the same style of Game Boy Advance I had as a kid and finding a used PSP that actually works well.
Favorite Console
When it comes to the current gen consoles, I think they're all great in their own ways, but my best gaming memories have been with the PS2, so I'll have to go with that.
