About Benjamin Fitzsimmons

Ben is a writer for Game Rant with 2 years of experience as a professional writer. He has published pieces of writing that cover a variety of industries. For gaming specifically, he's written content for Esports On SI and has had more than a few dozen articles published that cover a wide range of titles, genres, and styles. When he's not writing for Game Rant, he's usually watching esports or healing dungeons in World of Warcraft.

Proudest Gaming Achievement

My proudest gaming achievement is getting Keystone Master in World of Warcraft for the first time. I started playing that game when my uncle first introduced me to it back in 2012. I was absolutely terrible at it until Season 4 of Shadowlands in 2020. Getting that exclusive and limited-time mount while healing the hardest dungeons I'd ever attempted was an incredible feeling.

Even though I've since improved at the game and reach 3000 rating for the harder "Keystone Legend" achievement now, that first "Keystone Legend" remains my proudest gaming moment.

Favorite Games

My biggest passions in gaming are in the MMORPG, competitive FPS, and MOBA genres. I try my best to play and appreciate as many games in those genres as I can, but if I had to pick one from each of them, I'd pick World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, and Dota 2.

Industry Focus

My focus is on the gaming industry and, in particular, I heavily value staying up-to-date with competitive gaming and World of Warcraft. Esports and WoW have been a massive part of my life for over a decade now, and I strive to create high-quality content that is relevant to esports and Warcraft.
