About Aleksandra Kubas
Aleksandra began her adventure with games with… adventure games. As a child, she played the same titles over and over again, which were available on CDs included with magazines sold at newsstands. However, her passion for games reached a new level when she realized that, apart from jumping on platforms and defeating enemies, what she valued most in this medium was the ability to tell stories in a way that is not possible anywhere else. From that moment on, Aleksandra has paid special attention to RPGs, visual novels, point-and-click games, and horror games of all kinds. In her free time, she enjoys watching and writing about movies, reading fantasy and horror, and listening to music, especially from movies, games, and anime.
Favorite Games
Her heart belongs to indie games of all kinds – among her favorites are Doki Doki Literature Club, Cuphead, Undertale, Deltarune, Cooking Companions, OMORI, and OneShot. She also likes to delve into extensive series such as Ace Attorney, Danganronpa, Five Nights at Freddy's, and The Witcher. However, she always emphasizes that she is open to new genres and ready to broaden her gaming horizons.
Industry Focus
Aleksandra started out writing news articles about games and reviews of their film adaptations for a student radio station website. She made her debut in the industry media in August 2024 when she joined IndieGames.eu. Since then, in addition to gaming news, she has also been writing reviews, interviews, and reports on games and pop culture in general.
Proudest Gaming Achievement
She considers her greatest achievement to be that she played in all of the above titles and remained sane (or at least there is no evidence to suggest otherwise).
