ARC Raiders has announced another round of regional pricing adjustments that are live now. Embark Studios' extraction shooter has reduced its cost before, previously lowering its entry point across 15 regions ahead of its launch. The significant difference is that ARC Raiders' latest announcement is a pricing rebalance, which means that some regions are now paying less while others will have higher prices.
Regional pricing is a common practice where a game's cost is adjusted based on the purchasing power of a player's market, rather than converting its base price into another currency. While ARC Raiders previously implemented regional pricing, some regions were left out of the price adjustments. In particular, players from Turkey, Argentina, and Latin America have long been campaigning for fairer prices on Steam forums and community threads. Unfortunately, not all of these regions were addressed with the newest price adjustments.

ARC Raiders Updates Regional Pricing
Embark Studios announced through the official ARC Raiders Discord that the new regional pricing changes are now live. According to Embark Oscar, the studio's community lead, these changes "ensure that our regional pricing follows the current economic trends and ensure[s] fair pricing across the globe." This timely price update comes just before the newest 1.27.0 patch, which aims to improve balance adjustments for the changes introduced with Riven Tides while also adding the new Corsaro Set to the in-game shop.
This announcement isn't a straightforward price reduction, as it appears to benefit some regions far more than others. According to SteamDB's price data, South Africa saw one of the biggest drops, going from R 739 to R 549 (roughly $44.37 to $32.96); Colombia also saw a major cut from COL$ 126,296 to COL$ 99,000 ($37.70 to $27.20). Interested players from these regions now have a more accessible entry point for ARC Raiders' newest major update. Conversely, Ukraine and the United Kingdom saw rising costs for the game, with the former costing 1390₴ ($31.62) and the latter going for £34.99 ($47.46).
The timing of this pricing rebalance is significant because it comes as ARC Raiders is being review bombed on Steam. While the extraction shooter still has a "Very Positive" review on its Steam page, its recent reviews have brought it all the way down to "Mixed." The Riven Tides update worsened or outright ignored previous player complaints, who were hoping for rebalancing to happen in the major update. Some common criticisms of the update are its questionable balance decisions regarding weapons like the Betinna, guns losing durability at a much faster pace, and a lack of meaningful content, such as a proper endgame.

FORGE YOUR OWN PATH - Raiders survive by kitbashing scavenged materials; using long-lost tech and looted ARC parts to craft weapons, gadgets, and gear. QUESTS - In Speranza, everyone has an agenda, and the Traders are no different. They’ll send you topside on missions in exchange for rewards, slowly revealing more about who they are and what they want for Speranza’s future. Complete quests to earn gear, crafting materials, and XP to level up your Raider and unlock new skill points.
SKILL TREE - The ARC Raiders skill tree branches into three paths: Survival, Mobility, and Conditioning. Spend your points to shape your playstyle. Loot faster and move quieter with Survival skills. Outmaneuver your opponents and threats with Mobility. And enhance your Strength and Stamina with Conditioning. Choose how you grow and what your Raider brings to the battle.
BUILD YOUR ARSENAL - Whether you’re preparing to take down specific ARC enemies or fend off rival Raiders, there's a choice of weaponry for every fight. Cater to your style with a range of firearms including SMGs, rifles and shotguns, as well as more advanced options such as railguns and energy weapons. Grenades, traps, ziplines and deployables offer the tactical depth needed to outsmart your enemies, while augments allow you to tailor your loadout to your preferred playstyle; unlocking dedicated inventory slots and additional gameplay perks.
